We have a user-friendly tool designed to calculate additional allowances based on a variety of contractual requirements. It ensures transparency, accuracy, and fairness in how additional pay is determined. The calculator is based on the new Pay and Reward role profiles.
This tool will calculate your total additional pay and provides a clear breakdown of each component. It supports custom allowance types such as:
- overtime pay
- bank holiday working
- night work
- on call pay
- stan-by pay
How to use the calculator
- Download the additional pay allowance calculator.
- Open the calculator in the desktop version of the app (the browser version will not work).
- Use the orange cells to select your band and SCP.
- Enter your salary supplement if applicable.
- Enter your annual salary.
- Enter the total hours per year for any allowance type that applies to you in the white cells.
- Your total additional allowances will automatically show at the bottom.
- Make sure you reset the calculator before using it again.
