Your contract

You can view your contract online using our portal below.

Who can use this portal

All BCP Council colleagues will be able to use this portal except:

  • teaching staff within schools
  • colleagues employed by Bournemouth Buildings Maintenance Limited (BBML), Tricuro, BH Live and Seascape
  • Local Authority schools where BCP Council is not the employer
  • Academy schools
  • Councillors

If you don’t have a BCP Council email address you can still use the portal. However, you will also get a printed copy of your contract the week of 3 November 2025.

How to access your documents

In the portal, click the button to generate your contract documents. Be aware this may take up to 15 minutes to load.

Your contract is based on your job as of 8 August 2025. If anything has changed about your personal position since then (for example a change to your working hours) we have captured these types of changes up to and including 17 October.

Casual workers

If you’re a casual worker, your contract will be available on 19 November 2025.

Colleagues in secondment positions

If you are currently in a secondment position (a temporary assignment with an agreement to return to your previous role), your current secondment contract will be available. The contract for your substantive role, which you will return to after the secondment, is still being prepared. Check again in 2 weeks for updates on that contract.

New starters or role changes after 8 August

If you started a new job or changed roles after 8 August you can get your contract on 23 December.

We’re still updating contracts for recent changes. If your change isn’t shown yet check again in 2 weeks.

Role profiles

Your contract will provide your job title and a role profile reference. You can find all job profiles on this website.
